The goal of the project is to strengthen climate resilience in rural communities of Tanzania by building adaptive capacities to implement Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) approaches and diversifying livelihoods. The project will include the following interventions: i) strengthening the capacity of key stakeholders, notably at the decentralized level; ii) restorative investments targeted towards key ecosystem service to support rural resilience, iii) the development of local incentives and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and iv) knowledge management on climate change adaptation and up-scaling.
